Regular diners at our Kensington restaurant know what to expect, but new visitors are often pleasantly surprised by the art we put into the presentation of our dishes. Spice lovers can order a familiar curry dish and see it served with a modern twist. You can always try something you’ve never heard of knowing that our chefs will never disappoint.
Whet your appetite with a choice from our starter menu. There are three varieties of onion in our Onion Bhajis and three varieties of peppercorn in the marinade for our Chicken Tiranga Kebabs. Each of our starters is paired with an appropriate chutney or ketchup.
From the simple flavoursome Ma di Daal (slow cooked black lentils with cream and mixed spices) to the fragrant Lamb Biryani flavoured with coriander, mint and saffron – our chefs offer a range of main courses to suit every palate. Classic Indian dishes of varying degrees of familiarity are presented in a modern and stylish way.
On the Side
Alongside the usual options of plain, garlic or Peshwari, Chakra offer a Naan Bread that is prepared with blue cheese or goats cheese. If you find naan too filling, try our light and airy Paratha flatbread - available plain or served with butter or mint.
