Chakra Unveils New Summer Menu
Posted on 1st July 2016
As July begins, we are delighted to announce our new A la Carte summer menu. Head Chef Tai Khan and his team have been developing the menu for months, and now we are excited to serve it in our Kensington restaurant. With many dishes only available for a few months, visit us soon for an Indian taste of summer.
Salads might be a departure from the norm in Indian restaurants, but we’ve never been afraid to do things a little differently at Chakra. Our new summer salads give a fun Pan Asian twist to fresh fruit and vegetables. The mango and pomegranate salad is one of our favourites – bright and refreshing, it looks and tastes like sunshine on a plate.
Seafood takes centre stage this summer, as we offer our playful take on classic French and British dishes. Don’t miss the tandoori sea bream with saffron tartar; the delicate fish infused with Indian spices is a surprising combination of flavours and textures.
Guests with special dietary requirements will be pleased to hear that our updated A la Carte menu features our biggest ever selection of food suitable for vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free diets. New dishes like spinach cooked three ways and purple potato and ivy gourd salad can bring Indian fine dining to a new audience.
Other highlights of the new menu include our updated range of starters. East meets West with our lamb burgers, and even our much-loved tiger prawns have a pretty summer update.
Our intimate Kensington restaurant is the ideal place to enjoy a summer’s day. The new menu aside, our al fresco dining area has recently been renovated, and many of our guests have already been dining in the warm sunshine.
Make a reservation today to sample our new summer menu. Demand is especially high at this time of year, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
Don’t forget to join our mailing list when you make your reservation to be the first to hear about our latest news and special offers, once a month.
