Chakra Releases New Menu for Autumn 2016

There’s a chill in the air and crisp leaves underfoot. It’s autumn in Kensington, and Chakra is unveiling a new menu to celebrate the best of British produce and Indian cuisine. After months of development from Head Chef Tai Khan and our dedicated team, many of these exclusive dishes will only be available for a matter of months – so visit us soon to try them before they, like the season, change. Seasonal Produce

Seasonal vegetables feature heavily in our autumn menu, infusing Indian classics with an authentic taste of the British countryside at this time of year. In-season produce is riper, more flavoursome, and more nutrient rich – and by using it in our kitchen, we’re helping to support British farming. For a stunning autumnal flavour try the autumn update for our vegetarian Pakora, Korma and Biryani, or dishes featuring pumpkin, sweet potato, pear, wild mushrooms and English lamb.

Game Meat

The hunting season begins in October, and our autumn menu reflects the seasonal influx of game meat. Lean and flavoursome, game meat comes from wild animals – and you can’t get more free-range and organic than that. Our autumn menu features some of the season’s best game fowl – Pheasant, Guinea Fowl, Partridge, and Grouse – as well as the classic chicken dishes our guests love.

Something Lighter

The salads featured on our summer menu were very well-received, offering guests something very different from other Indian restaurants. They were particularly popular with health-conscious diners and those with vegetarian, vegan and gluten free diets – and they won’t be disappointed this autumn. Our fresh range of delicious and nutritious salads is packed with Asian flavour.
