Celebrations at Chakra
Posted on 22nd January 2018
Over Christmas and New Year, we played host to dozens of parties and celebrations with champagne popping every night. The festivities began early in December, kicked off by the incredible supperclub with Saurav Nath, and continued throughout the month leading up to our big New Year’s Eve bash. Now that January is more than halfway through and we’ve abandoned all resolutions, we’re getting ready to party again!
Love is in the Air!
February, of course, is the month of love. Valentine’s Day this year falls on a Wednesday, so whether you want to join us for a romantic mid-week datenight or you’re celebrating your love over the weekend, we’ve got the perfect venue and menu for you.
The Big Dates of 2018
It’s not just your significant other who deserves a date, treat mum to a special night out and book in advance for Mother’s Day on the 11th March. Only a fortnight later is Easter – a traditional time to get together with family and friends over the long weekend. Father’s Day this year is in mid-June, and in July the Indian cricket team are coming to tour England for a summer of sports.
Holi is celebrated on the day after the full moon in early March, this year falling on the 2nd. Although the parties in London aren’t much like the traditional celebrations in India, throwing paint at each other certainly works up an appetite and is a great excuse for a big celebratory meal!

An Indian Feast with Saurav Nath was our last of 2017, and it was most definitely a high note to end on. A glowing review from The Foodaholic arrived in our inboxes a few days into the new year and has us eagerly awaiting the events of this year!
