A Very Merry Christmas Message from Chakra

We’ve had so many Christmas parties here at Chakra it’s felt like Christmas all month! The most wonderful time of the year is here and we are ready to relax for a few days after a brilliantly busy year. All year long we’ve had much to celebrate, with success after success!
We kicked off the year in style, in January we sponsored the Aashni + Co Wedding Show, the go-to event for the British Asian bride-to-be. Our events team had a fabulous time at the show, and wowed the crowds with our world-renowned bespoke catering treats.
The cherry on top of a very busy summer came when we won Restaurant Newcomer of the Year at The Asian Food and Restaurant Awards! The Oscars of the Asian Restaurant scene, we couldn’t have been more pleased to have our hard work and dedication recognised by the wider food community.
Throughout the year we’ve held supper clubs, hosted by the wonderful Humayun Hussain, bringing exciting and daring Indian dishes to delight and inspire our guests. The incredibly talented Saurav Nath cooked here at supper clubs in April, July, October and December to rave reviews. In November we had the pleasure of receiving the legend that is Mridula Baljekar for a very special supper club. The award-winning chef and author cooked modern vegetarian dishes that were met with plates licked clean – true praise! After so many fantastic sell-out events this year we can’t wait to see what Humayun has up his sleeve for 2018!
We are so grateful for such a wonderful community of food lovers that share our passion for modern cuisine. We would like to say a big thank you to the people of Kensington, our customers, friends and supporters. And a special mention of course to our chefs, waiters, KPs, delivery drivers, events organisers and bartenders. We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Christmas Opening Times
We’ll be open as usual over the Christmas period except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day when we will be closed.
