This Sunday is the International Day of Happiness 2016, and we can’t think of a better way of spreading joy than fantastic feel-good Bollywood movies. This years’ International Day of Happiness is based around the Ten Keys to Happier Living, a list of ways you can lead a fuller and happier life developed by Action for Happiness. If you need a little inspiration, these feel-good Bollywood movies highlight each of the Ten Keys to Happier Living, and are bound to bring a smile to your face.
Munna Bhai MBBS (2003)
Based on the classic Robin Williams movie Patch Adams, Munna Bhai MBBS tells the story of a young Mumbai crime don who decides to go to medical school to win back his parents’ approval. Munna encourages his patients to change their lives and treats them with compassion and kindness, going against the school’s teachings.
