Chakra is delighted to launch its new summer menu featuring wonderfully tempting delicacies from around the Indian sub-continent, many of which are signature creations by our talented chefs that you won’t find anywhere else.
New dishes, lighter, fresher, gluten free and vegetarian and vegan options sit alongside authentic Indian classics.
The new menu has been inspired by feedback from our diners and staying true to the exquisite and healthy Indian cuisine that enshrines what Chakra is all about. The new summer menu is a celebration of Chakra’s signature flavours, all with fresh new twists and the addition of wonderful Indian salads, Indian tapas and our bottomless brunch!
Chakra’s famous Biriyani, Good Ole Butter Chicken Tikka Masala and other traditional favourites are all staying put and sit alongside exciting new arrivals like Nihaari Lamb Shank, Roshanji’s Rogan Josh and Navratan Korma.
There’s a bigger emphasis on sharing too with our Chota Plates or Indian Tapas menu. Sharing is what Indian Food is all about, and there’s no better way to experience this than by munching though our small plates, washed down by a cocktail or two. The latest small plates include delights like Chilli Cheese Toast, Keema (Mince Meat) stuffed Naan and Avocado Ke Gole, which are ready to dig into with friends. The new Indian salad offerings provides a lighter, fresher, option for diners who are after quick, healthy bites. Perfect for summer!
It’s not just the food menu that’s had a refresh. You will be glad to hear that we have an exciting new drinks menu on offer too. A special mention needs to be made of our Calcutta Express Cocktail (Bourbon Whiskey, Green Chilli, Honey, Lemon juice, Berries, Ginger Ale) and An Evening In Chakra (Cognac, Apple & lime juice, Syrup infused with Star Anise, Cloves and Tamarind. New mocktails include the ever so lovable Rose & Cardamom lemonade
